Housing Revolving
Loan Fund Program
Central Appalachia
Empowerment Zone of West Virginia

Purpose
The
purpose of the Central Appalachia empowerment Zone (CAEZ) Housing Revolving Loan
Fund Program is to improve housing conditions for residents of the Zone.
Eligibility
Loans
will be made based on the following criteria:

Loans
can only be awarded to zone residents who reside with in the CAEZ Census
Tracts.

Applicant's
income cannot exceed 100% of the median income for the county in which they
reside.

Applicants
must own their home and reside in the property that is the subject of the
loan application. The CAEZ will not make loans for the rehabilitation
of rental property.

The
CAEZ will not award more that two loans the same family or resident.
Applicants must wait a minimum of 12 months from the time a loan is awarded
before requesting a second loan.
Terms/Conditions

The
interest rate on all loans will be 3%.

The
term of the note will be dependent on the borrower's ability to repay the
loan. Standard loan will not exceed 10 years.

The
CAEZ Housing committee will make a determination of the length of the term.

Minimum
loans amounts will not be below $250. Maximum loans cannot exceed
$10,000.
